Reborn Artdolls
Reborn artdolls are a true form of commercial art. Reborn artists use vinyl dolls reproduced from the original sculpt. Generally the original artist has nothing or very little to do with the finished reborn doll. Artists remove the paint, hair and eyes from the vinyl and replace them with fine routed mohair, glass eyes, high quality paint and even different ears, fingernail, open mouth, etc. When these reborning is finished it often is unrecognizable from the original sculpt. These artists are true craftspersons.

Karen is a Master Artist with the Professional Doll Makers Art Guild. She serves as the Secretary Treasure and the Membership Chair. Karen won the Annual ProSculpt Contest in her category in 2011.
ProSculpt Contest Summer/Fall 2012
This contest is for all customers and friends from the Social Networks and customers of Johnston Original Artdolls and the ProSculpt Company. The only requirement is that the dolls entered are one-of-a-kinds and that they are made of ProSculpt. There is no charge to enter. The contest will run from June 2012 until December 30th, 2012. The winners will receive a years supply of ProSculpt. Please, limit your submissions to three dolls. If you submit more than three we will choose your best three for the contest and delete the others.
