Subject:Life scale newborn head armature..... HELP!!!

Okay folks, I have a question..... I have order 2 of these life scale heads from here and am having a serious problem! My head always turns out the size of my toddlers!! I am adding 1/4" thick clay around the whole head and then building up the face as per the DVD with Pat Moulton. I wish I could post pics on here!!! I am not sure of what to do next. I have tried making a newborn size head 4 times now with the same armature and it never works. HELP!!!! TIA, Dawn McLeod

When using the life scale baby head you will have to put enough clay on the head to measure 14-15 inches in diameter. That will make the size of head the body was designed for. The amount of clay that you put on the armature determines the size of the finished head. If you have specific problems you may call me for personal help. Thanks, Jack
