when Prosculpt Clay is starting to go a bit dry. Feel,Texture etc?? When trying to blend a seam, My fingers tend to slip over the surface instead of my finger tips catching on the clay. If you can work out what I am talking about. Also adding facial parts to head, it is difficult to blend them too. This is my second lot of Prosculpt and I never had this problem with the first lot.

Polymer clay does dry out in time. If you notice a slight drying of the clay you may add a few drops of Smoothing oil to the clay while you are kneading it. If polymer clay is kneadable it okay for sculpting. It just may require a little oil and more kneading. You may order smoothing oil at artdolls.com. Or if you are in a pinch, you may purchase PVC oil at Michaels. Good luck, Jack
