Hi Rena, look at Katherine Dewy's web site www.elvenwork.com. On the guide page she has a small paper booklet called , Making Babies, it has all of the porportions in it.
It is pretty inexpensive as well.

The best suggestion I can offer is the same one I've used for nearly 20 years. Take a photograph of the baby you wish to sculpt. Take the photograph to Alphagraphics (or a similar store) and ask them to blow it up or reduce it down to the exact size you desire to sculpt. Once you have the photographs you can take measurements from the photograph and put them against your sculpture. This will give you a perfect scale. Good luck, Jack
