Johnston Original Art Dolls

As of January the 1st 2010 Johnston Original Artdolls will open its new National Headquarters and Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. The move has been in the planning for about six month, this is the first announcement to the public. There are two major reasons for moving, both are for financial growth for the company. The first reason is that Nevada does not have a state tax law. That will save us a great deal of money each year. The second reason is even more important to us. Our new studio and suite is across the street from the Las Vegas Convention Center. Las Vegas has become the convention capital of the world. Every three days there is a new convention in town. As a result, there are hundreds of thousands of convention "widows" staying in Hotels with nothing to do for three days. All I need is six of them every two weeks and I can make a very nice living teaching doll making. Our classes will run from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Friday Saturday and Sunday the same days as the conventions. You may have already been a convention "widow" or may be in the future, if that is the case you know what I mean. Our new suite is one of the top floors of the 45 story Turnberry Towers. To the best of my knowledge, it is the only doll making class in the world that is overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. We will run our business, teach and live in the new suite.
