When using FabriTac you must allow it to cure for at least 12 hours. IF you pull it apart before it has time to cure it will not hold. If it is allowed to cure over night it is extremely strong and is even washable. Good luck, Jack

Have you tried Aleene's Glues??? I find that her fabric glue is great and have even cheated and used Aleene's Silver quick dry in a small quanity (using a toothpick to apply a NARROW line of glue) letting it set up is imperative...it must have time to set for it to ber strong....there are also certain types of heat set glues in the fabric line if you are using a fabric that can stand the heat of a very warm iron...take a look at the glue department at Michaels or Hobb Lobby for some more options.

Jennifer, I think that it does work better if you let it dry over night. OR, sometimes, I cheat and use a hair dryer to help it along. Also, you can experiment with the different kinds of fabric glue. I think that some work quicker than others. You might look at Michaels or Hobby Lobby at all the different glues and as you probably know some of the fabric glues are on the glue isle not in the fabric dept.

Will someone please explain to me how to glue clothing together. I keep trying Fari-Tac like I keep reading about but the fabric seams just see pull apart. Do you have to let the glue dry over night? Thanks for any help.
