Thanks Jack! I have a few others in my workroom unfinished that I'd like to get done BEFORE I start on this one. I'll let you know how I progress! :-) Thanks again for the quick reply! Sandra

I use a totally posable skeleton made of PVC pipe. All of the joints in my life scale Santa are posable. His head armature is one of our life scale baby head armatures. I use the life scale baby head armature as the core and then wrap the head with aluminum foil to the size I want. That keeps the head light of weight and easy to work with. Let me know if I can help you in any way. Good luck, Jack

Hi Jack! I decided to post this in the forum so that all could benefit. You have done a life size Santa in the past. My question is what type of armature did you use for the head?? I have been sculpting babies with the foam armatures with great success but can't find anything large. What would you suggest I use to build up a life size adult or child head? Thanks in advance! You are always helpful with your advice. A true Godsend! Sandra
