Subject:original patina for dark clay

Help! I made a black baby and sanded after it was cured. Then put the turpentine on to get it back to the original sheen and it doesn't work. It is chalky after it dries. What do I do now? thanks, Lisa

After you sand the surface you wipe it down with lacquer thinner not turpentine. If there is a white chalky appearance you may wipe it down with ProSculpt smoothing oil, that will restore the natural patina. Call me if you have any more trouble. Good luck, Jack
