Each 1 pound bar of ProSculpt® clay contains enough clay to make two 18" dolls. ProSculpt requires very little kneading, it seams together without showing the joining lines. Two of its most outstanding features are its maleability when it is uncured and it's strength after it has been cured. Cured at 275° F (130° C), this clay can be used in a household oven. For every 1/4 inch of thickness, it should be cured for 10 minutes, to a maximum of 20 minutes. When properly cured, it becomes extremely hard and durable. It cures to a natural, translucent, flesh-like color. Note: You will save money by purchasing larger quantities. The largest discount rate is a 40% discount on 96 bars or more. Because of the quality of ProSculpt clay, in most cases this diluent is unnecessary. However, it can come in handy if you need to smooth the surface of your subject before you put it in the oven. You may also soften "old" firm clay by adding a few drops and kneading the clay. Making a slurry of ProSculpt and ProSmoothing Oil is a great way to mend cracks and blemishes.
